Ballard is a guitarist-composer who in every releases tries to offer the audience a unique experience and a wide range of emotions described and conveyed by his evocative music. “Rebirth” is his new work, fourth single released and preceded by “Changes”, “Too Soon feat. Derek Sherinian ”,“ Chant of Posidonia, ”which are an excellent showcase of the artist’s ever-evolving guitar mastery, composing style and sound.

“It’s music inspired by a particular chapter in the life of all of us, when we finally get out of the dark, we glimpse a glow and find renewed inner energies that guide us towards a new season of the soul. I chose to accompany the release with the words of
Pablo Neruda that I feel really representative.”
As an artist, Ballard tries to go beyond the usual conventions, he does not follow the flow of what you would expect from a musician-composer who makes a type of music that has the guitar as the “narrative voice”.
The technical component remains at a high level (never used in excess) but this time he chose to write a shorter song than the previous ones with fewer changes of scenery and with a simple and catchy theme. Every note has a specific purpose, always at the service of the arrangement. “Rebirth” is a combination of progressive rock, metal and fusion, and the melody that guides the intensity of the piece is really suggestive, at times epic! Ballard is a master of blending numerous influences in the same composition, and this new track is another great combination of the different faces driving his music.
This song is a must if you love artists like Plini, Steve Vai, Dream Theater, Intervals, Joe Satriani, as well as the whole world of instrumental progressive rock/metal.
