MEAN stack installation on VPS Server
To run a web application the server, It must support the peripheral aspects wherein, the Installation of MEAN makes its important mark on the server.
Mean stands for
MongoDB
MongoDB is a open source, document oriented database, using of which is a simple task when you are hosted with HostingRaja.
MongoDB comes preinstalled in the HostingRaja server as per the request of the clients.
Installing the mongoDB on the VPS server is a single step process
To install the mongoDB we need to run the following command on the VPS server
Procedure to use mongoDB
Step 1 : Connect to MongoDB database panel
Find the below icon on HR Panel and click on it
You should see the following page
Click on Launch MongoAdmin
Enter the username and password (you will get it on your registered email id with request)
Click on “Login and Rock”
And you will be logged into the mongodb database admin page.
Step 2: Creating the mongoDb database
Click on the following icon which is on the HR panel to create a new Database
Once you click on it you should see the following page
Enter your database name in the space provided for example testdb and click on create.
Once you click on it you can see created mongoDB database.
Step 3: Creating the mongoDb database users
Click on the link shown below on your HR panel
Once you click on the above icon you should see the following page.
Enter the username for the database you have created and select the database from dropdown menu.
Node.JS
Nodejs is the open source server framework that runs on various platforms like Windows, Linux,mac os etc.
Enabling and disabling the node JS is made simple at HostingRaja.
Enabling the node js for a domain is possible with a simple front end click.
Click on the following icon on the WHM panel
Once you click on it the following page is appeared.
Select the domain name from the from the drop down menu and enter the port number. Once you click on create it will check weather the port number is available. If it is available it enables the node JS on the server.
Express & Angularjs
The express and angularJS supported along with the installation of node js. No separate installation is required.
