Boo-tiful Bat Bag
We’ve made a small bat parcel using only crepe paper, twine and our favourite hard candy for a unique twist on the traditional goodie bag. We’ll show how to make these bat-shaped treat bags.
You’ll Need
●Black Crepe Paper
●Bakers Twine
●Scissors
●Pencil
●Ruler
●Your Favourite Hard Candies
Here’s how to make it happen
1.Prepare your materials first. Cut your crepe paper into a 11″ x 9-1/2″ square. Cut two 16-inch pieces of twine.
2.Next, lay the crepe paper flat. Fold it in thirds and press down gently on the creases.
3.Once your crepe paper is folded, you can use your ruler or pencil to mark 4 inches from each end. Wrap one length of twine around the 4″ mark. Secure the ends with a bow.
4.Your open end should be used to insert the candies into your bag. Wrap your second twine around the 4-inch mark, and tie a bow.
5.Next, make your bat wings. Lay the bag flat on its end. To create a wing shape, draw semi-circles with your pencil along the edge. Use your scissors to cut the outline. Continue with the opposite end.
