Are you the one who sings along in just about everything but finally and finally no words when the music is switched off? No problem. We have the solution. If you are a pop singer, for example, you can get away with not having to learn too many words outside. In some songs, some sentences combined with “Lalala” or “gaga” are enough. However, there are other rap artists. As a rap artist, you have to learn an incredible amount of text, and also by the way. That’s why we chose to challenge our guest program manager Jeppe “JAG” Grönholm, the Finnish-Swedish rap artist who, among other things, made the incredibly cool song Vamonos. For a music production service Best Music Production Company
With this prejudice as a starting point, we put together a small competition between Janne, Jeppe, and Fredrika. The competition was about learning as much as possible from Nicki Minaj’s song Superbase in ten minutes. Whoever could then say most sentences in the right order won.
When our bad ten minutes started, total panic also began. How is it possible to learn all this outside in such a short time? Everyone had different methods. Janne ran around the corridor while Fredrika locked herself in a cleaning scrub. Jeppe, on the other hand, sat quite calmly on his chair in the studio, and when we finally competed he won.
Focus on the rhyme
What, then, is the secret behind Jeppe’s talent for remembering text? HOW can he be so much better on a song none of us could ten minutes earlier? – First I read through the words and then I read them again and tried to find the flow of the text, said Jeppe.
In other words, he tried to remember it by taking the help of the melody himself. One thing he did not mention on air however, our producer Amie told us later. It is because he also focused mostly on the words that rhymed, remembered them and then got the rest of the text “on the purchase”.
So if you feel that you want to impress your friends with, for example, rapping in the entire Thrift shop, this is the method you should use. If you want to listen to the competition in its entirety, you can do this.
