It is more so the risk that we are playing for nothing right now. This might not just be a reboot of gear, but a lot of what we got. There is the chance of simultaneous co-existence but more than likely, an individual might be killed off later on. There is also the possibility EVE Mobile ISK may continue being the main game. All in all, I hope we get additional details sooner instead of later. I will agree PSO2 is a mess in terms of economy. But I’d put a lot of blame on the fact nothing is quite valuable (besides old scratch items) and the large meseta gains. Too much meseta is pumped to the game and not enough is removed. The reality is certain players are always likely to hold the wealth in matches like these. While most players are conducting mission, these gamers are working the marketplace. Their behavior will not change with a new game. Whether players missed the launching won’t alter that. There is nothing that was available at launch that will impact new players as the game always devalues old loot with fresh content.
It is dependent upon how many classes, how much material, and what the level cap will probably be in NGS. PSO2 might be just the solution to the deficiency of classes and/or endgame content until enough gets made. We really do not know until we get additional info. I’m imagining is that they will eventually phase original PSO2 slowly or NGS will get way more updates than OG PSO2. The gears will be tweaked and appearance possibly altered though so can you truly bring it along? Lets be real, it’s likely to be a WoW new expansion scenario where I hope to swap out it after finishing a few expeditions.
Completely agree. I was very excited for PSO2 and’m certainly excited for New Genesis. However they might have handled this better. I have the exact same sense as you do, and I’m sure many others do as well. Our time/money feels basically wasted on PSO2 – I wish they just released New Genesis internationally and kept original PSO2 at Japan, or brought it on in precisely the exact same time as New Genesis (because the matches are packed together anyway). Granted, we aren’t becoming New Genesis for another season or so, so there is lots of time to enjoy classic PSO2. Unless our trend cosmetics carry over of course;-RRB- Fashion is ending game anyway, maybe not levels/equipment lol But before it is flat out supported, I am assuming all the fashion accessories and items will not be transferable, even with classic PSO2 obtaining the graphic up elevator to match NGS
