IMPORT/EXPORT SPECIALIST

The learning curve will be longer if you do not already have experience importing and/or exporting. Learn the basics and host educational sessions so others can learn what they need to know to get started in import/export. Just doing that might get you your first couple of clients. If you keep offering educational seminars and expand beyond your immediate area, you could probably develop a sufficient customer base very quickly, but be cautious not to exceed your learning curve.
INTERIOR DECORATOR

Promote your skills to building contractors. Home decorating choices and possibilities can often overwhelm people who are purchasing new homes. Create questionnaires for each major element and each major room in the house. Discover how the homeowner will use the home–will there be children? Are there pets? Will the woman wear high heels? Do the residents forget to remove their shoes? What will each room be used for? How can task lighting and ambient lighting be used effectively?
JEWELRY MAKING
Experience, training or licensing may be needed.
It is possible to get into the jewelry business in a variety of ways and work with different types of materials. Metalworking will probably require the most specific tools. Heating metal is necessary for manipulating it, and metalworking tools are needed to cut and engrave it. There are many other materials that can be used to make jewelry–glass, plastic, beads, feathers, even wood.

MARKETING COPYWRITER

You can make good money in this business if you can write copy that motivates people to buy what the client has to offer. Since you have a wealth of experience in this field, you should take a course. Courses offered by community colleges and universities can give you an edge in writing copy for brochures, catalogs, advertising, and, of course, marketing copy for the web.
NOTARY PUBLIC/JUSTICE OF THE PEACE

According to most states in the U.S.a notary public is a state official who is authorized to witness and certify certain documents by signing and stamping their seals. The process generally requires passing an exam and completing a background check. The cost of becoming a notary is very low, and your income from notary work is negligible. Justices of the peace usually perform wedding ceremonies. The rules and procedures for becoming a JP and performing services vary from state to state. It does not cost much to become a JP or a notary public. It is also not a big business! States set the fees you can charge for JP services. It is common for JPs to add additional fees, including travel and hourly rates for additional meetings, such as rehearsals, prep time and special requests.
